Earth Interferences

Earth Interferences explores the dynamic geological processes that continuously shape the Earth's crust and surface. Beginning from the Earth as an active and evolving system, the zone investigates how these processes increasingly intersect with human activity through extraction, energy technologies and climate-related transformations. Rather than treating nature and culture as separate domains, it examines the entangled dynamics through which geological, ecological, technological and social processes co-produce one another. Through artistic research and interdisciplinary collaboration, the zone asks how these interferences reshape our understanding of planetary agency, vulnerability and responsibility, and how they generate new cultural narratives and forms of ecological awareness.
