Susanna Ravelli
Susanna Ravelli, an independent researcher, lives and works between Cremona and Milan. She works on contemporary art and culture projects as a curator and project manager.
She has collaborated for many years with Centro Itard Lombardia on cultural and artistic production, territorial development projects focused on water landscapes, and vocational training initiatives. She also collaborates with nonprofit organizations and artistic research collectives: she is member of the scientific committee of the NAHR Association, coordinator of Hydroradio, idrofemminist webradio… In Cremona she manages a contemporary art space “It’s Hard Noise”, curating an art and culture program of social and politic activism
She is a co-founder of the Volcanic Attitude Festival, now in its 5th edition and since 2019, she has been a member of the ATS management committee at Casa degli Artisti in Milan, coordinating the main interdisciplinary art residency.
Since 2018, she has been the curator of the nomadic residency program Grand Tour en Italie.

May/June 2026 “(Im)possible Geographies”, curated with Dino Ferruzzi and Alessandra Arnò, at It’s Hard Noise, Cremona. An exhibition of video art and war tapestries on contemporary Iran and activism at the intersection of art and politics
May/November 2026: Curated with Francesco Perozzi, “In 2.73 Days”, a four-act exhibition during the 61st Venice Biennale International Art Exhibition
April 2026: Curated the production of “Erbario” by Ugo La Pietra for Casa degli Artisti as part of a collaboration with the Michelangelo Foundation. Art Week and Design Week
March 2026: Coordinated the thematic pavilion “Umanissima Sopravvivenza” by Sergio Racanati, curated by Studio Amatoriale, at Forte Sant’Elmo, Malta Art Biennale
December 2025: Co-curated with Olga Gambari the exhibition “Saturnalia,” funded by the City of Milan, at Fabbrica del Vapore’s Sala Bianca
December 2025: Curated Riccardo Arena’s exhibition “Subculture of the Sun” at Casa degli Artisti in collaboration with Katia Anguelova, Giusi Checola, and Giulio Verago
Since June 2025, she has been the coordinator of artist residencies at Casa degli Artisti in Milan
From June to December 2025, she curated contemporary art initiatives and a cultural public program to mark the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Casa della Memoria.
